Evaluation
An evaluation is the first step. A speech-language evaluation includes standardized assessments, observation, and parent interview. Evaluations are a time for parents to ask questions and detail their concerns and for Aviva to get to know your child. All assessments are performed in a
.comfortable and playful manner to put everyone at ease
Therapy
Therapy sessions are customized to the individual needs of the child. Frequency of therapy is determined by diagnoses and the needs of the family. Therapy is designed to be fun and engaging. Aviva focuses on significant outcomes and highlights the small victories on the road to further sucess.
Home-Based Services
Speech and language intervention is a dynamic interactive experience. Home-based sessions often provide fantastic opportunities to promote carryover of newly acquired skills and to involve caregivers in therapy.
